Unfortunately this book will probably annoy more people than it will help but the truth is never easy.
I've read What Really Makes You Ill front to back twice, been to book talks by the authors, and arranged a book talk with the authors.
It has transformed my health, and it was the catalyst for making me want to get an allotment.
Not only will reading and understanding it give you all the informtation you need to make well informed decisions on your health, it will make you understand how important food and proper nutrition are, and also hopefully make you realise why your particular allotment might be under threat in the very near future.
Read it first.
