I'll be posting more information and photos in upcoming journal posts but to jump the gun to get the ball rolling...

The actual allotment I'm on is actually full up, and it looks to me like it's going to stay that way, and also another one probably a mile away, that one looks like it's going to be left alone but I know for sure there are two within a few miles radius of ours that are being let go to ruin.

One has turned into a bit of a shanty town, with plots going to waste, and quite a few that people are obviously living on, and another one that access for manure and parking is being made more and more difficult.

We have a friend on one of them that doesn't understand it but you can't say too much, or you might end up arguing. People might be a bit more open to the possibiloity now though that certain allotments are being let go gradually, before the Rayner Declares War On Allotments announcement.

I'll be going into more detail and taking photos in later posts on the main website. I just need to get 'round to it.
